I've always enjoyed seeing the unique things that there are to be seen in small towns- old buildings, monuments, and the iconic county courthouses. Here are my pictures from trips I've taken in the past few years.

For this trip, I headed south from San Antonio on Hwy 16 about 150 miles, and then to the east a ways, and then back up. There were some nice towns, and some that were just plain depressing. (2-2007)

This is the diary of two trips- one to the northwest into the hill country, and one to the southeast towards the coast. (7-2003)
